Chocolate Buffet at Marina Bay Sands

Well I think that I have met my match... I love chocolate and I found a chocolate buffet in Singapore. It is in the ship shaped structure on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. So I made us a reservation for 8:30 on Sunday evening. When we arrived at the hotel, we received our pass to get to the 57th floor from the Rise Restaurant in Tower One. We then got into the elevator and were whisked quickly to the 57th floor... I really felt like Charlie from the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" as we rode the elevator... It was so fast! When we stepped out of the elevator the view was breathtaking to say the least. We were able to walk by the infinity swimming pool and saw the people swimming at the edge... It was so scary looking to me! But it was like nothing I have ever seen before! Pictures just don't explain how magnificent it really was up there! We arrived at "The Club" restaurant where our chocolate buffet awaited us... Oh my!! I have never seen so many chocolates prepared in such a beautiful display... Anything that you could have dreamed of was truly there. We were offered coffee, cappuccino, espresso, latte or tea to drink... We chose tea which was brought and served to us so elegantly. We filled our plates with one of everything... I will have to go back because I am sure that I missed something! Then we began to enjoy each type of chocolate decadence. I was in heaven! The ambience and the food and the view was something that I never dreamed I would ever get to experience in this lifetime! I know that many of you out there will not ever come to Singapore, but I hope that I am able to share a little of the fun with you and you enjoy the journey with me!
